About Us
Orchard International Christian School (OICS) is a private Christian International school using the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum in Uganda. OICS was birthed in 2015 in response to the call of God to represent Him to reach the children for Him through Christian education. (Psalm 1:3)
We offer a High Quality Blend of Co-Curricular Activities, Sports and Academics.
Students receive practical lessons in relevant subjects daily in their Complementary Activities. Their core curriculum PACE work is mostly completed in the mornings. In the afternoons the lessons are designed to build team skills, group work, investigations and to bring a dynamic, practical level to the more theoretical morning work.

The Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E) curriculum is an individualized, Bible-based, character-building curriculum package that aims to develop children holistically and at their own pace.
The core curriculum includes the six basic academic disciplines that provide students’ essential educational needs: Maths, English, Literature and Creative Writing, Social Studies, Science, and Word Building (spelling and etymology).

Yes, we do. Our Preschool is a full year programme designed to develop the basic skills that prepare a child to be ready to learn to read. It is fun and interactive and consists of mastery of letter sounds and letter shapes, stories, songs, character training, scripture memory, physical development, play and much, much more. We accept children from the age of 3 who are able to interact and will enjoy the experience.
