Preschool with Ace and Christi
This full-year program is based on a complete scope and sequence of concepts and skills needed to prepare a child to read. The program uses Bible and animal pictures, coordination development activities, and full-color picture stories to encourage a child to want to read. The student will also learn social skills, the wonders of God’s world, and the reality of God’s love.
ABC LEARNING TO READ – GRADE 1
ABC is a 15-18-week program that has been developed expressly for the ACE individualized programme
We recognize that a child must be able to identify, recognize and correctly write the letters of the alphabet in alphabetical order, say each letter sound, blend these sounds together to form words and learn to take responsibility for learning
The training in self confidence from the first day prepared the young student for academic independence, by not answering his question; rather help him find the answer
The physical activities are planned both indoor and outdoor, some reinforce the letter learnt, some build upon the character and others just for fun. Participation in group activity teaches cooperation and teamwork, as they learn fair play and follow game rules
This full-year program is designed for those who have not been to school or who do not yet know how to read. To begin in this program, the student must pass both parts of the Pretest and show the proper maturity level as determined by the Coordination Development Tests. In the first 12-15 weeks, the ABCs with Ace and Christi program will prepare children for the individualized instruction of the PACE curriculum. The lively and entertaining phonics-based program features cartoon characters, songs, poems, displays, and character-building activities.
