Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) curriculum
These are the phonetic sounds that the A.C.E. curriculum uses to make blending of sounds much easier for the learner.
Yes, students in Preschool wear school uniforms.
Yes, learning absolutely happens outside the classroom. Students gain valuable experiences and knowledge through co-curricular and extracurricular activities such as computer classes, field trips, community service, sports, and everyday interactions. These experiences help develop important life skills, social awareness, and real-world understanding that complement classroom learning.
Socialization is provided during daily class devotional and opening activities during break, lunch time, sports time and snack time.
A fast learner is allowed to accelerate according to his/her ability, however, if they surpass their chronological age, they may be subjected to the expanded curriculum.
The PACEs ( work books ) provide for self-learning. But if the supervisor feels that he/she needs to explain or emphasize a concept, then they do it individually to the student or pull Out a number of them who are in the same topic for a group learning.
We have various Co-curriculum activities, for example football, table tennis, athletics, music (voice and instruments), ballet, chess, languages (Chinese and French), STRACS (Public Speaking), bloomers, ROPEs and many others.
We have merits, character and honor roll awards to motivate students for both academic and character.
The students are able to monitor their progress constantly with a Goal Card of daily targets in front of them, a Star Chart displaying their completed PACEs. There is also an academic projection that suggests to students when they should finish different parts of their PACE work. The students are able to track their own progress daily, weekly and termly. This enables them to be aware, responsible and in control of their own learning.
The student gains the International Certificate of Christian Education. (General to Advanced certificate)
Yes. Students are able to apply to both Local and International Universities with the certificates gained.
10 years
By providing channels through which the students can showcase their talents and skills like sports and clubs. We also have a platform called Convention, where students get to compete in different categories including, sports, Music, Art and craft, photography, performance Art etc.
Before a student can join they are subjected to a diagnostic test that helps us know where to place the student academically. This will be their academic level where they will not struggle but start comfortably. Again, they will be placed in the learning center of the right age set so they can socialize and make friends. New students are taken through an orientation.
ACE Provides very good and candid Christian foundation for a child who is growing up to become an influence in the society. Through its presentation a student gains self confidence and moderate self-esteem and learns to follow in the character traits of Jesus Christ to which they are exposed and trained throughout the year.
Accelerated Christian Education.
The Learning Centre is the room in which students complete academic work. The environment is quiet, calm and orderly, which allows students to concentrate and work at their optimum level.
PACE is an acronym for Packet of Accelerated Christian Education.
A PACE is a bite-sized piece of curriculum which comes in the form of a colourful workbook designed to encourage learning and understanding and develop mastery of a concept.
A PACE is a single element of learning which builds up to a whole, coordinated ‘library’ of knowledge. There are 132 to 144 modules in each of 7 core subjects which will be completed over the life of each student at school, eventually resulting in the internationally recognised ICCE qualification.
ICCE stands for International Certificate of Christian Education. For more information click here: International Certificate of Christian Education.
The ICCE Advanced Certificate is a matriculation certificate quoted by UNEB for university entrance, though this does not constitute accreditation. We are more confident than ever in the ICCE, especially with its growing record of high achievers at university.
It has been investigated in detail by NARIC (UK) and in 2012 they reported it comparable to Cambridge International Examinations O Level and A Level. It has been accepted at many universities including Oxford and Durham, for a variety of courses including law and medicine.
Each student must pass each module before going to the ensuing one. The student masters each level as an individual. This ensures the students do not get left behind or held back by others and allows them to set their learning goals and measure their own progress.
The PACEs are designed to be completed at the student’s ability and speed. PACEs come in bite-sized sections, so the student can measure his own success as he completes it.
